So the decision was made that I won’t be going to Madinah this year. Which means, among other things, my husband won’t be here for the baby’s birth. :sigh:

There’s really nothing else to do though. With so many obstacles and so few resources, me going is just really not an option right now.

So I’m applying for a job being a substitute teaching in Marion (that should be interesting). And I’m also going to take one or two courses online from IUPUI. Inshallah it’s enough to keep me busy.

I don’t mind going to live with my parents for awhile. It’s relaxing being at their place. So in some ways, it might actually be easy for me. But in other ways, it’s not.
